Arrowood Malbec

On the nose, blackberries, black cherries, subtle flowers, oak and maybe a slight green note. On the palate, medium-bodied with blackberries and black cherries and a medium length, spicy and peppery tannic finish. This could use another year or two for the tannins to soften, but very good wine.

Dark color. A bit oaky on the nose, with subtle aromas of vanilla, strawberries, and a little brown sugar emerging after an hour or so. A little jammy, and still quite tight and perhaps even closed. The palate revealed good definition and concentration with strawberry and cranberry flavors dominating.
