a nose of pure cru beaujolais - strawberry & cream candies, with some fresh strawberry pureé and red cherry. light palate depth, would like alittle mouth, a touch of tannin suggests 1-2 years in the cellar wouldn't hurt. nice "juicy-fruit" chewing gum finish for those Aussies in the audience. ;-). promises more on the nose than delivers in the mouth. slight reduction on opening blew off. a good but not excellent cru beajoulais.
