Rarely do I pour a wine down the drain but this was undrinkable.

Won’t rate now. Hoping it’s not another overhyped wine access wine. Lots of interesting parts but not integrated. Will hold and try again in five years

Late post. I was quite impressed with this one. Purchased half a case from WineAccess and sat in my wine cooler credenza for a couple years. Enjoyed it over Thanksgiving dinner. Did not decanter, bottle to glass. Smooth with a long finish. Looking forward to the others over time.

So this is a Wine Access project label that I got a half case free from them for a shipping mixup. This is a decent wine, sourced from a solid AVA. It a bit big right now, with a big nose of blackberry and cherry, and a fruit forward taste that’s a tad too extracted at present for my palate. That said, this isn’t a bad product, and it should tend to mellow out a bit with some bottle age. …

Deep purple. On the nose medium plus intensity of black cherries, blackberries, bramble, violets. On the palate the wine is dry wtih medium plus acidity, high fine grained tannins, full bodied, high alcohol and flavor intensity is medium plus with black plums, cherries, blackberries, cinnamon toast, black pepper. The finish is medium plus. The wine is well balanced and the fruit and acidity balance the high alcohol, resulting in a beautiful expression of a Napa Cab.
