what an amazing wine. The heat of the vintage is not showing through this had vibrant, acidity, and spot on balance. What a delight to savor. We had it with sushi and the horseradish and pickled ginger with the sushi were a perfect pairing.

Nose of tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit and vanilla. Mouth with assertive richness, but served by a beautiful acidity. No heaviness here, the juice is carried from start to finish by a beautiful acidic frame, and yet, there is concentration, with marzipan, a mixture of candied peach, pineapple, orange and vanilla. . The tension gives coherence to this whole. Beautiful finish on mango, with an appreciable saline length. Very good Moselle wine.

Wow. I expected a treat and was served an emotional wine. What is striking is the absolute subtlety of everything that hits the palate. Monthly Tasting Group: Rieslings and Thai Food (Sen Yai Sen Lek, Mpls) : Light medium gold color. 2oz pour over 60 minutes. There's some nice fusil, white peach, medium body and nice texture, tart fruit, medium length, citrus, moderate acidity. Very good, if a bit understated. 91+pts.

A touch of petrol is there but it's freshly buoyed by a generous helping of pineapple. Flavors are in the same pineapple-y vein until some granny smith apple emerges in the midpalate. While this very young auslese doesn't impress with complexity at this point, it does show its breedl in the way it hides a substantial quantity of RS, mostly by virtue of quite un-2003 acidity.
