good tannin/structure, not cloying but fruity. Some interesting perfumes in there. very good value for a pinot in this range

New World style of Pinot. Juicier and bigger than a French Pinot, but not too overbearing. Good cherry and tannin flavors; unmistakeably a Pinot. Uncomplex, great red house wine. Great at less than $15.00 a bottle.

Rhubarb and raspberry compote on the palate - a bit of floral and that volatile aromatics that aren't my favourite but that most people 'see' as the NewWorld Pinot Noir profile. Good acidity, medium body and medium plus alcohol

Straightforward west coast pinot. Notes of strawberries and a bit of oak, slightly acidic, goes well with food. Is this a great wine? No. But to get a drinkable, enjoyable Pinot for $11 is noteworthy. I'll be getting more as a nice food-friendly daily drinker.

Nicely balanced, fresh pinot. Surprisingly rich. Great deal for $10

Interestingly, this wine was obviously much better made than the basic 2011 Cono Sur Pinot tasted just ahead of it, but at this stage in its aging, I'm not sure I liked it as much. The nose was pretty closed and the fruits at this time weren't really balanced with the tannins and alcohol. It may come together in another year or two. Normally, you dont say this about a $12 pinot, but I would get a couple bottles and …

Tremendous value in this wine. Each time I have it I wonder why I don't have it more often. Extremely versatile with food and can be enjoyed on its own... Clear garnet core out to a narrow white rim - Youthful. Clean nose of earth, mineral, spice, cherry of medium intensity. Dry with a sappy (meaning fruit/acidity balance) entry - smoke, cherry, strawberry, spice and mineral on the palate - medium intensity. The finish is clean and medium in length …

I've been a fan of this before, but this was not pleasant.
