Baron Albert Champagne Jean de la Fontaine - La Majestueuse

Quite underwhelming taste... 2010 is supposed to be a not so good vintage and it showed. Smell already harsh and phenolic and similarly disappointing taste. After some time and air the harshness subsided a bit but overall not a very pleasant champagne. Would be interesting to compare with a good year... Two other bottles from this brand waiting to be tested... Update... Just skip the 2010/2011! The 2012 will be good I am sure. Just tried their other bottlings and …
