Deep brooding nose of black fruits and lashings of spice and toasty oak. Youthful, the fruits are ripe, intense, and tinged with a vanilla note. Full-bodied, the entry delivers sticky sweet blackcurrant, black plum/prune and tobacco. The fruit core has a rich texture filled with vanilla, toast and spices with Lindt 70% chocolate and mocha tones. I find that whilst the wine is opulent, the oak seems balanced and not intrusive. A full-bodied, powerful wine that exudes a soft velvety, creamy texture that runs through the core of the wine towards firm, sweet cocoa-powder-infused tannins. Etwas dunkle Beeren, sehr dicht, mit festen Tanninen und einer feinen Säure. Aber auch würzig,holzig, teeig. Wirkt noch jugendlich. Macht schon Spaß, glaube aber, dass er noch ein paar Jahre liegen sollte.
