More red than blue fruit. Plenty of life left. Nice.

Side by side with '09 Lillian Blue Label. 4.5+8.5*+4.5*+9+9+4.5+4.5=94+ Definitely in the dark fruit spectrum of Syrah with less of the smoked meat character. This is just so fresh, vibrant, and upfront with its luscious fruit and depth. Really a lovely wine that poured ready to drink but I would guess it still has a good number of plateau years ahead if you have multiple bottles. Certainly drink now for a purity of black fruit that is in wonderful balance …

Unfortunately I only had about 4ml because of a farcical situation, but it was very good. I think it is at its top, sadly I had only one.

On po and pour this showed nothing - reticent nose, harsh on the palate. Took 2.5 hours in the glass to get ready. Then mostly secondary, picked up weight, smooth. Really needs fatty protein to show at best, we paired with Delmonico steaks and it worked. Without accompaniment after dinner, not so much. I would drink up.

Time to drink, not bad but a bit muted with H‑E‑B a d raspberry in the nose. The herbs follow through to the palate with a muted blueberry, cracked pepper and cola notes. Drink now.

Outstanding WA Syrah. Rich and full bodied with lots of dark berry fruit and savory spice. Very well balanced. Paired well with savory rack of lamb with sweet potato puree.

Very nice Syrah. Rich but layered and complex. Vanilla on the nose, nice mouth feel, long finish. Rasa makes nice wines, but they are often priced at a premium at the winery. I like this one a lot, but still paid a bit too much for it.

While still enjoyable, I found this to be still quite tannic, even at 10 years of age. The fruit and structure underneath are outstanding though. This just needs more cellar time.

Great syrah to serve with BBQ. Still has at least 18 months in peak drinkability.

PnP, consumed over two nights. I was expecting this to be more or less fully mature, but found it to be a bit tight on the initial pour. Opened up with some air, and was better on the second night. Kind of wish I had another one to be able to check in on in a couple of years. Sadly, a last puppy.

Deep purple fruit and forest floor in the nose. A nice mouthful of coffee, pepper, black fruit and a decent tannic/acidic bite. Drink now or within 1-2 years before the prunes start to show.

Last tasted/note 2/2016. Pop and pour. Moderate climate Syrah medium to full bodied. Great depth of dark blue to red/black fruit with mineral and floral accents. Noticable heat knocks it down a tad. Overall very nice but would drink sooner than later to enjoy the fruit as I’m not sure tertiary transition is a plus here. My last bottle.

Low levels of what appears to be TCA lurk behind blue fruit, stone and a rocky finish. Maybe other bottles will improve.

Nose - cocoa, cassis, mint Mouth - powerful yet round, lots of dark fruits, reminds me a little of a blackberry liqueur. Finishes clean though possibly with a touch of heat. For fans of ‘big’

Improved over last year; better overall balance and depth. Raising the score. 11/26/2016 Note: Well made, but lacking a sense of place. WW has some amazing vineyards, with easily identified terroir. This Syrah, by contrast, has a generic quality to it that makes it a bit undistinguished. Score: 90 pts.

Deep purple color with a bouquet and flavor of apricots, coffee, and bergamot (think Earl Grey tea). Good balance and nuance with dusty tannins. Very nice wine. Tasted at the end of my family's great tour of the Washington wine region at the winery's tasting room on the outskirts of Walla Walla. The tasting was memorable with much talk of the very gifted and interesting owners, made better by the excellent and intriguing wines. Please note the owners' penchant for …

Rich, full bodied and still youthful and tannic, with nice mineral notes on the finish. Needs a couple more years in the cellar to soften the hard tannins.

Hot and confused on the palate even on the third day, but some wonderful overtones if you can get past that. I ended up drinking it with some sheep's-milk brie, which cut out most of the flavor of the wine and only left the good parts. I don't know if additional cellaring will make this more to my taste.

I think his needs more time, on opening its just a slap you in the face bitter messy monster, two hours in its just classic Syrah with a cherry nose and a pepper finish and great tannic structure that just needs a bit more smoothing. This could get really good, 91+ now.

In the early stages of its drinking window now, this medium to full-bodied Syrah offers a blue fruit profile with saline and savory finish. Great juice.

PNP - Cherry, dark fruit, wood, bacon and earth on the palate. Drinking nicely on the initial poor, we'll see where it goes with time but pretty darn good as is. Drink now or hold but I am not sure you'll gain much by holding.
