A charming nose with notes of honey, honeysuckle, a touch of flint, delicate rose, quince jelly and a subtle trace of clove in the background. Medium bodied. Honeyed tones unfold into bergamot, peach, rosewater and blood orange. The high acidity and richly textured. Quite delicious.

Notes of Jonathan apple and ripe nectarine lead the way, with ample minerality adding depth. There's a richness here too, and just enough acidity to keep it honest.

Straw yellow/lemon color. Nose is mineral forward but not strong. Palate has great acidity tart apple, honey, and washed stone. Nice finish. Quite complex and a great summer drinker.

Medium lemon color. Rich and deep flavors. Mixed citrus, and orchard fruit. Lingering acidity is working below the surface. Lacks intensity and complexity. Very good.

Very clear 18k gold color. Sweet carrots, lemon, and play-doh, distant bleach, and brine on the nose. Notes of fresh-squeezed carrot juice with lemon juice added, yellow vegetables, and starchy hominy funk. Not my preferred style.

Caramel color, incredible honeyed flavor, viscous, with citrus, apricot, almond. Just exceptional.

Really beautiful with a lovely viscous texture that's balanced by a good amount of acid and lots of slatey minerals. Up front its all honeyed melon and sweet straw. Never had a pg quite like it.

Elegant stonefruits, rather light despite the power. Will probably develop good with a few more years. Elegant!

Pale golden pour, a floral nose of lychee and honey and the slightest of oak. The wine is slightly sweet with a medium plus body. It was a much sweeter and fuller wine that I would have thought from a Pinot Gris - the finish had a slightly off taste. This wine smells much better than it tastes. Maybe with a little time in the glass it will improve...

Some interesting TNs associated with this wine. I will take a less quantitative approach. Golden color with maybe just a hint of pink, somewhat muted aroma but faintly floral, orange blossom, honeysuckle; I found it to be quite interesting on the palate with medium acidity, notable minerality, some subdued tropical fruit. In Alsace it is all about the terroir and this kind of wine manifests that.

A: Medium to deep gold N: Medium (-) intensity. I really had to swirl and sniff a lot to get much off the nose. Pear tart, orange blossom, orange peel, honey a touch of wet stone and a little bitter twig. P: Dry, medium alcohol, full body, medium intensity, medium (+) finish. C: Body was a surprise for me but G. says that this body is TYPICAL OF ALSATIAN PINOT GRIS.

Tasted blind. Clear, medium (+) yellow with copper hues. A definite marker for Pinot Gris. The nose is clean, with ripe to overripe apple, pear, lemon, wet stone and quite a bit of lees notes. The palate is dry, but with plenty of ripe fruit. The acidity is medium (+) and the alcohol is medium (+) to high (14%). The palate is consistent with the nose, but also has a pleasant bitter note on the finish, which is another marker …

Lovely, full expressive, honeyed nose. But after such an enticing prelude, the palate is a tremendous disappointment. Awkward, clumsy, weighty but lacking the necessary fruit behind it, so it ends up feeling too oily. $26.

Medium body, long finish, stone fruit with apricots predominant. Mouth coating and good acidity. A little bitter on the finish, otherwise it's a higher score.

Enjoyed this with prawns in a spicy coconut milk broth. Paired nicely and the acid was helpful. Subtle fruit. Will add more as a regular for more interesting asian and heat driven foods.

Nose shows mango and a bit of quince. Orange and mango fruit flavors on the palate with loads of minerals and grassy hints. More minerals and fruit on the finish.

A good Pinot Gris but lacking the depth and finesse of his old vines or site specific parcels. You can see where it might be going but hasn't reached full potential versus his greater efforts. A nice wine to begin the Pinot Gris discovery. Enjoy.

Honey-gold colour. Aromas of honey, lychee, spice, mango. Full-bodied, unctuous wine, medium-sweet, good acidity, with spice, nutmeg, honey, lychee, peach. Long finish, 40+ seconds, with spice, nutmeg.
