Very interesting Meritage-style blend of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and greek autochthonal grape variety Limnio which is mainly being grown on the volcanic soils around Mount Athos on the island of Lemnos, where also this wine derives from. Look: ruby red with brownish hues. Thick. Nose: paprika, tight and earthy, ashes, animalic touch like smoked meat. Taste: clear tannins, cassis. The Cabernet shows through though it's less than 30%. An elegant and interesting wine.

Medium deepth of ruby color fading to a purple on the rim. Medium intensity of clean and savoury aromas on the nose together with spicy red fruit and a whiff of leather and bay leaves. Palate is medium to full, with lean fluid texture, quite flavourful and dry with lean fruit, some Cabernet herbaceousness and slight peppery and leathery notes.
