Tasted alongside the La Nuit des Rossignols from the same producer. This has more of a ruby colour, nose is earthy, farmyard and with black fruits. The palate has got body with bold ripe blackcurrant and blackberry flavours with grip on the mid palate and spicy finish. This wine is bigger and bolder, with more tannic grip and personality than the Rossignols.

Deep purple with bright edges, blue fruit aromas, medium body, firm acid structure, mild tannin, medium finish. A wine that holds up throughout the meal. No point to hold this, but it will drink well to 2022.
