This year's version is 63% Mourvedre, 32% Syrah and 5% Grenache. Red fruits aroma, tastes of Raspberry and slight tobacco and a good finish.

Took about 2 hours to really open and show its depth. Nice dark fruit, with hints of violets and a dusting of pepper and spice. A bit of smoke and bacon fat on the nose, with a nice mid palate. The finish was a just a bit short and slightly more acidic that I would have liked. As a result, it would be a better wine with food than on its own.
