Clear, medium (-) garnet. The nose is clean, with ripe red cherry, red flowers, fresh herbs, celery, licorice and root vegetables. The palate is dry, with medium (+) to high acidity, medium alcohol (13%) and medium (+) but smooth tannins. It is medium bodied and well balanced, with medium flavor intensity and a medium (+) long, slightly bitter, savory, juicy and tart finish. Definitely a food wine rather than a cocktail wine. Good color. The nose shows cherry liquor, raspberry, herbs and minerals. This is medium bodied on the palate with good concentration and excellent finesse. The medium plus length finish features high acidity and fairly elegant tannins. Very dry.
