Ten Acre Ten Acre Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard, USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley

Sedimentation layered in the bottle. Decanted for about an hour beaming with minerals and butterscotch. Lovely backbone of spiced pear and nutmeg that tickles the throat. Bright yet balanced with a slight creamy texture. Finish is one of the longest I've experienced in a Cali Chardonnay, honey, full bodied and smoke.

A nice rich sipping chard.

A weighty and rich wine. Layers of oak, stone fruit and melon. Hints of citrus. Does not hide it's 14.4% abv. Relatively low acidity but a long peppery finish. I think this should get better with some age. There is a lot going on but it's not yet integrated.
