Blackstone Paddock Chardonnay Limited Release

$15 Aldi job. Oak dominates nose, bit of citrus. On entry seems a bit going on but that’s just the fruit weight (good). Flavour is grapefruit and a tropical something. Acidity is ok. Wouldn’t buy again (nothing wrong with it - well made), but if you like Chardonnay (and you’re not loaded) I suppose it’s a reasonable mid-week wine.
