La Honda Winery Pinot Noir Sequence

a core of red strawberry fruit is surrounded by subtle, integrated layers of vanilla/chocolate/coffee, with enjoyable, high toned notes of eucalyptus/bay leaf... which makes one wonder how far the nearest eucalyptus trees are from the vineyards sourced... also possibly intermingled whiffs of mushroom/underbrush adding to the complexity... regardless, unique and true to the region.. with good, balanced structure... good weight in the mouth ...and persistent, penetrating, lingering finish which echoes the initial nose... a solid Pinot Noir... with unique character.. …
