Retail $12. Under screw cap. Responsible bottle (384g). Fairly dark in the glass with tons of fruit, particularly a black cherry Kool-Aid vibe going on. The palate is fruity, even quite fruity with an earthy, acid-driven aspect that is more compelling than I expected. As always, my litmus test with this type of wine is the wedding reception. Really enjoyed this bottle! Luscious dark red fruit, all the right balance added by the barrel. Plenty of life left....enjoy

It's been just over a year since my last tasting, flavors filling out nicely, the chocolate intensified in the midpalate, still very dark fruits blackberry and hints of plum on the front, the body seems a bit thicker and finish is gaining some legs with black licorice evovling, still a little hot surprisingly, I think one or two more years it will likely peak. Medium to full bodied, solid fruit forward cab. -S

Solid medium bodied cab, Nose: light sweet, vanilla nose, Flavore: very nice fruit on the front, light finish, feels a bit more chewy than K-block as I recall, has that dusty feel, maybe the cedar box or cocoa feel, good but I think I like the K-block is better, shows good promise, maybe just needs some time to fill out the finish, good overall structure to age.
