I like this wine. Nose: blackberry, vanilla, plum. Palate: Jammy dark fruit, balanced tannins, medium acid. Enjoy the loveliness of this drop.

Good. Pepper and savory notes with a good amount of acid to balance the fruit and extraction. I wouldn’t want to let it age much longer but it’s drinking well now.

Big fan of Hall Cab but this seems to be on the downhill. Light tannins, muted berries. Going to drink the last few bottles quickly.

This isn't holding up well over time. First glass was a disappointment and even the wife put hers down the drain.....but after about a 3 hour decant - it pulled itself together enough to enjoy with dinner. Drink now as probably past it's prime.

Very decent now! Ready to drink, not near the end of its window despite dates on CT. Pretty color, no signs of age. Tannic bit just right. Solid fruit nicely balances the acid & tannins. A real pleasure.

The green pepper funk blows off after opening for an hour or so. Not a great wine and not a lot of complexity, but it is a 2011 Napa wine after all. Pretty simple but not unpleasant. I would say drink them up if you have them.

Decanted for 45 min. Clean but faint dark fruit aromas. Some black cherry fruit on the palate which quickly gave way to very peppery, hot, spicy finish. Some solid tannin backbone. Not our preferred palate. We feel we missed the window with this bottle.

In its drinking window now! Had this in a lineup with several Spring Mountain Cab's and it was very good, but noticeably different than the others! A lot fruitier, but still well balanced, and opened up quickly. A short decant would help this and very enjoyable. I haven't had a Hall that I didn't like! Probably has a few more years in it for sure!

Previous reviews 11-16-16 and 6-26-16. Third of three bottles. This is now in its prime, drink now status, do not see this improving, would consume in 2017. We did decant it for a couple hours and it was what we expected. Elegant, finesse, slightly rich, but not bold. Dark berry, woody, earthy. I agree with past comments. The wine is grippy and Tanic. Big black berries but the finish is overshadowed by tannins. Probably past peak. It is clear that the 2011 vintage is weak. Glad it's the last one in the cellar.
