This is still drinking very nicely. The fruit is intense and it made for a very enjoyable accompaniment to dinner. There was a lot of dark (Bing) ripe cherry in the taste accompanied by other fruits and a little tar.

Clear dark ruby core of moderate intensity out to a vermillion edge and moderate watery rim - wine appears youthful. Clean mod+ intensity nose of plum, garrigue, bumbleberry, sweet oak and vanilla. Mod+ flavours of prune, vanilla, dark cherry, oak, with moderate tannins and acid and full on body and alcohol (although the alcohol is not horribly off putting). dark with dark fruit tones, reminds me of a petit sirah

A very fragrant nose, with black fruit behind some strong earthy tones. A bit of fruit in the forepalate gives way to nice old-world balance in the mid, but on the back theres some unpleasant sharpness. Great color. Would go with hearty beef, lamb, or game.

My wife and I did not enjoy this wine

Pretty tasty little wine, living up to its price tag. A complex blend of Mourverde, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Cinsault, Carignane, Tannat, and Pinot Noir. Makes for a enticingly dark powerful blend that is satisfyingly fruit forward in the near term.
