Decanted for 30 minutes. Closed nose but viscous on the mouth with dark fruit flavors and a medium long balanced finish. This is a great value wine if you like cab francs that you should keep in your cellar

Green pepper notes that transform to a beautiful and seductive cherry cola note, with tobacco accents and red currents. Tremendous wine for the vintage from a vineyard source that is now owned by the Jackson family for their LOKOYA Spring Mtn. Appellation Cab. Great juice!

Very pretty purple color. Berries on entry—blueberry seems to provide sweetishness and blackberry seems to provide jamminess. There are, also, some plum flavors. Some still very serious tannin—that seems to be a signature characteristic of Spring Mountain red wines--but I’m liking it. Tannin, understandably, causes some “roughness” way in the rear palate. A quite full-bodied wine.

Amazing flavor. Full and lush. One of the best Cab Francs I've ever tasted.

Has aged nicely. Smooth yet slightly tannic so it goes well with food

This has gotten better with age. Smooth clean and well balanced, with lots of red fruit and a bit of smokiness. Decent medium finish.

Clean, med purple color Clean nose, med intensity, red fruit, some smokiness, developed wine Dry, med acid, med+ tannin, med + alcohol, med intensity, med + finish. Red fruit = cherry, red currant, oak presence. Nice but believe is it at its peak.

Time has made this even better. Dark fruits with a tight finish that lasts

Reached its peak after 3 hours of being open. Deep ruby color with great fruit on the nose and palate. Balanced tannins, medium finish.

Tannins overwhelmed the body of work. Would let it cellar at least a few more years..

If you wanted to capture Spring Mountain in a bottle, this would be it. Blueberry pie and graham crackers on the nose. A big full mouth of dark berry juice that is smooth and textured. Tons of chalk in the mouth and very well balanced.

Possibly the smoothest Cab Franc I've ever had.

This wine is elegant and sumptuous with loads of jammy dark cherries and blackberries with some cassis. It has a beautiful silky palate feel and finishes long.

Score likely goes higher with aging. Very dense and full of power. Just needs time to evolve..
