Medium- to full-bodied, bordering on unctuous. A light peach flavor, but mostly dominated by lemon-lime. Medium acidity. Not thrilling, but solid and made well.

Golden color. Apple fruit on the nose. Tastes of tart apple and lemon. A bit one-dimensional with a metallic finish. Not a fan at all. Unrated.

Nice, little bit thinner mouthfeel than expected. Higher acidity than expected. Smooth, but less than expected.

Basic, straight-forward table white wine with a kick of unbalanced chardonnay flavors just to make the rating low-ish.

White Rhone blend; not sure varietals but very well done; in addition to the the good texture and acidity I'd expect, there is a noticeable, enjoyable minerality that makes it dance on the tongue. Recommend.

Straw, citrus and black licorice on the nose. Myers lemon with nice creaminess and minerality mid palette with crisp granny smith apples on the finish.

This is a good value, a nice wine, from a trusted producer who clearly cares about the world around them.

Enjoyable wine - my first white from Rhone. Seemed like it had Chardonnay characteristics in the body, but without the oak or butter taste that I taste in many of them. A decent value for an every day drinker.

My 2nd trip to The Sampler (The Sampler, London) : Almost Sancerre- or Chablis-like freshness and minerality, with honey-dipped apples filling it out. Surprisingly weighty, slightly nutty palate, but with a clean sharp finish and almonds right at the end. A little alcoholic at the back, not quite to my taste but very good. £10, 13% abv.

Walker Trade Show (Providence) : 1/1/10: Yep. 88 12/7/09: Ditto. 88 11/21/09: Great fruit. Lovely freshness. Touch bitter/floral, but it works in this unique package. Such an interesting but still enjoyable wine, at a killer price. 88 9/14/09: That's some amazing aromas here. The palate is medium bodied, and then finishes so clean and crisp. Great stuff. 88

Pale yellow and clear. Rhone plonk. Modest nose, little on the palette. Nothing offensive, but lacks terrior/character

Nice contrast to to the '03 Guigal, much more complex, less sweet, nice forward fruits but not too sweet. Good minerals. Nice wine

Golden honey colour, viscosity revealing the high alcohol. Sweet, intense, apricot, cantoulope melon and peach on nose. Very full powerful ripe fruit attack, acidity shines through on the mid-palate and reveals a glimpse of a mineral structure which soon dies to leave a long but acidic, slightly bitter finish. The high alcohol content shows at every stage with this wine, and whilst still integrated, if it shows more with age it will be detrimental. Not a fine wine, but easilly …
