A 20 year old GSM....last review for this on Cellartracker was 2017! On nose: light coffee, very ripe blackberries and damp earth. On palate : notes above present and focused, with curious notes of treacle toffee, plum jam, and pomegranate ( prominent grenache).....soft and smooth on palate, with some heat from 15% alcohol.... Fading, but still pleasant....if you favour this style....drink up. Orphan bottle at my wine merchant's.

A shame I didn't drink this earlier, lush fruit lept out of the glass on pnp. But, its too flabby and moving to acidic now.

PnP, nose of blueberries and a whiff of chocolate. Palate was rough and hard to define - maybe a little chemical taste. After 10 minutes in the glass, the fruit starts to come out and open up. Decanted and after 30 minutes the palate softened. Decanted two hours and poured half into a 375 ml. Day two, the nose is muted, but the palate is well-integrated and a balance of creamy dark fruit, spice and wood. I wasn't so sure …

A pure varietal red wine - incredible stuff. A wine incredibly soft and smooth but very concentrated fruits. Berries, some wood, dense and thickly but although good to drink.

A bit primary but still brings a meaty nose and bright fruit is offset by an earthy if a bit too mulchy overtone.

Velouté et équilibre. Dégusté lors d'une verticale 2005 @ 2008 : constance surprenante pour toutes les années.

Not sure where this wine is at. Muted nose and palate initally suggest that this is getting slightly past its best, and not a patch on the last bottle.

We drank this as part of the Appetizer affair before Thanksgiving Dinner. I remember a lot of talking, a lot of eating, and 3 bottles disappearing. We agree; we didn't hate it.

Dark red garnet color, dense bouquet of blackberries, cherries and violet, medium to full body with a 40 second finish.

Dark purple in colour, the almost overpowering fruit experienced a year ago has subsided and the wine is more balanced. Pleasant to drink.

Very nice GSM blend. Smoother than most Australian wines I had in the past, full body, rich, full of ripe fruit. Nicely balanced, you can't guess that it is 14.5%. Great pairing for turkey. Would definitively buy again.

Nice fruit. A mix of darker fruits and red fruits. A little bit of funk and more earthiness. Meant to be drunk young. Not too over the top. I liked it.

I expected much more what I finally got. Blackcurrant in pleasant nose. Taste is very jammy and those who like that type of wine this is a good choice. Any way the wine was at its best pairing with ox.

Drank on New Years Eve with a Rack of Lamb dinner, decanted for two hours and was pleasantly surprised at the way it showed up

Colour a dark violet red. On opening the nose is rather mute, general fruitiness, but nothing really identifiable. On the palate smooth and warm, a very agreeable taste. Aftertaste long and a bit spicy. A nice wine.

French style. Should be kept in a cellar for 1-2 years more. Disorientated, but will get better.

kinda light in the glass, original mouthfeel is somewhat thin but pleasant, a poor man's CDP, develops spices and depth from mid-palate on, surprising length, after having had it in the context of a meal, it made a lot more sense, not a drink-alone wine this Miss Harry

Rather vibrant and pleasant aromas of berries and fruit. Rather full bodied on the palate, showing vibrant berries, fruit and acidity with a distinct tartness but still quite smooth, long and balanced. Got better with more airtime in the glass.
