Like my previous note, the fruit still overwhelms the other elements. It could still come good, because you can see the tannins and acidity, but it feels like I am being optimistic. Its not fading though, so worth keeping a bit longer for the next bottle.

I can see why this scores well with critics. Good structure, well made. For me though it's a little too fruit driven. Cassis, blackberry, cedar. I think the tannins are not quite strong enough for the fruit and acid. Personal choice though. It will definitely age so hoping the fruit mellows a bit.

GT Wine Top Tasting WA Cabernets (Sydney) : Nose: Cream, blackcurrant, slightly jammy. Vanilla and spice. Mouth: Medium plus acid, cream, blackcurrant, spice and alcohol heat. Very nice.
