Lake Chelan Winery Cabernet Franc

Nice color. The nose shows aromas of jammy summer berries, earth, oak, minerals and a hint of flowers. This is medium bodied on the palate with good concentration and very good class. The medium plus length finish features slightly rustic tannins and a hint of oak.

Tasted along side the Ravines '17 Cab Franc, this subtle wine was blown away. These wines are both good, but the Keuka Vineyards wine shows an elegance and sublty that expresses the character of the varietal. This shows how professional tasters can often miss a great wine in a flight of many.

Bitter after taste. Need to check other 2 bottels.

There’s a subtly to this wine that is irresistible. The nose shows raspberries, cherries, clay and dried leaves. Flavor is similar with a mouthwatering mid palate and soft feel. Finish is not long but juicy. Drink now or hold.

Light and thin. Consistent with previous bottle.

Very light in color and in body. Nothing wrong with this--some mild green pepper aromas, currant flavors and modest acidity but very diluted. Pleasant quaffing, but I would hope for more at this price point.
