Epiphany Syrah Hampton Vineyard

This is a wallopingly massive fruit bomb (in a pleasing way). The dark fruit is still super fresh and concentrated. The secondary notes from oak are smooth and vanilla-like, and the tertiary are just starting to emerge. Full-bodied with an pronounced nose, good structure with acid and tannins, this can certainly sit for a few more years. Dusty on the nose, soft on the palate. Not a ton of flavor but some solid red fruits present. Nothing disappointing here but not much to rave about either. Finish is clean with a hint of acid. Not amazing QPR for this one At about $27 but OK ��

Just about perfect. Up there with $90 wines. Soft tannins and velvety.
