This was a 375 size bottle. Forgot I even had it. Thought for sure it would be flat, dead, and had exceeded its life expectancy. We were fortunately surprised to find it still had a crisp nose and pallet. Slightly acidic, vibrant, and still one of the best Sav Blancs I've ever had.

So complex it's hard to comprehend and I'm not a fan of this varietal. Rich bouquet of candied peaches and pears followed by citrus and leechie nuts. Why even drink it with a nose like this! Racy, creamy round mouthfeel with flinty tannins. Wine of contrasts due to some Chardonnay richness and vanilla notes . Bottom line is citrus and acidity dominate the wine especially the finish which is long.

Aromatic, grass, tarragon, light bell pepper, chalk-rock; balanced, elegant rich mouth with good intensity, but not overblown at all; medium acidity, clean, long finish with a touch of kiwi fruit. One of the best CA SB's I've had in a long time.
