On the nose vanilla and red currants. It lets light pass through the glass like a new world pinot. First sip lets you know this was aged for 14 months in American oak. Vanilla more vanilla and red berries. It is varietally correct however this needs more time to meld. The finish is sour followed by tannin, which ends with a 10 second delicious finish.
