Very nice food wine; great with seafood. Very light straw yellow color. Initial riesling-like petrol aroma transitioned to those of nuts, herbs, and minerals with a little air. Medium body and finish, with good acidity and minerality, and flavors of lemon, light herbs, white pepper, and loads of minerals.

Interesting take on vermentino, nose of lemon zest, vanilla and tart pear. On the palate medium body with some texture to it. Notes on the palate are similar to those on the note, all this with good acidity and balanced dryness.

Golden color, has notes of mint, thyme, Anjou pear with just a bit of oak. Medium body with good weight, not a light sipping wine, though still enjoyable on its own. Good acidity, will pair well with seafood, salty foods and lighter meats.

PHMG WAG: Tour de France 2013 (Chez Lyon in Eugene, OR) : As the first "course" in this "Tour de France" tasting... ok, you get the pun. The race held its first ever stages in Corsica this summer so we started here also. This wine has a light yellow color, a nose of tart citrus, minerals, and smoke. These are reflected on the palate with some melon and pear. Great with "French fries" with truffle salt.
