It is what it is, a dessert wine I equate to liquid candy. A clean rosy caramel color this wine taste more like a black tea liqueur with toasted marshmallow notes and a touch of crisp pear. Not syrupy as one might expect. Poured at the end of an informal dinner party, the ( I don't like sweet wines ) participants all asked for 2nd's.
