I keep changing my mind about this wine. This bottle was thin, tart, and lacking of any complexity whatsoever.

Popped, decanted, and served. This bottle is an impovement from the previous note. Not sure if this is due to the temp (closer to cellar temperature). The nose is more expressive...earth, red fruits. Chewy tannins coat the mouth. I'll retract my previous statement about not purchasing again. Not a screaming QPR, but definitely a viable choice for under $10.

This was picked up by a family member at Costco for $12...it tastes like it too. Very light-colored for a young bordeaux. At first, it's sharp, thin, and unappealing. But with some hours in the decanter, it fleshes out a bit. Still, probably not something I'd purchase again or seek out. Although for the money, you could also do worse...
