After 12 years, I wasn't expecting a lot. Surprisingly, the color was still there (light for a 2011) with a tinge of brown. Plums, a bit of tobacco on the nose and palette. Smooth with a longer finish that I expected. Quite nice.

Light FLX Pinot Noir. Sour fruits. A bit lack of flavor when opened, but much better after 40 minutes in air. Smooth finish. A decent wine in a tough year.

Cali pinot this ain't. Not really Burgundian either. A lighter year in FLX? This is light, lots of sour cherry, some herbs. Light tannins, strong acid. Not sure where this will go with time- I don't see it improving but with the high acid/low alcohol doubt it will fall off soon either.

A lighter Pinot with a dusty, chalky mouthfeel. Herbal notes mask a slight bitter cherry finish. Nice complement to fish and salad

Left on the counter for three days after initially popping the cork and trying it, hoping for some rebalancing--even a little bit of fruit--to emerge but it didn't happen. Light, strong acid; probably more appealing on release.

Way too young perhaps fruit will develop some over time but too austere for me with aNY OF THE food or cheeses we tried.
