Screwcap. 14.7% alcohol. Dense dark purple centre with red rim, no orange/pink. Warm, rich, ripe fruit wafts up. Huge wine in the mouth. The old joke about Durif was it that it was a drink, meal and cigar all rolled into one. This wine embodies that. Marvellous deep set fruit (blueberry, coffee, prune). Tight-set furry tannin.
