Ripe and charp. Clean ripe fruit with green apple, baked lemon, lime, yellow melon, apricot and honey. Charp high acidaty to balance the ripe fruit, super balance with a matching saltiness. Long crisp finish.

Delicious from nose to finish. Instant memory of lemon tart in a small cafe in Mendocino, CA ~1992.

Great balance. Has everything you wish for in a kabinett. A trip down memory lane. Hopefully the Germans will return to this type of wine. There are too many bone dry wines out there (although they can be beautiful as well).

Perfectly balanced. Fine acidity and racy fruit. Drink now-onwards

There is was a certain restrained elegance about it that made this memorable. Nice, harmonious on its own.

Pale yellow wine with a bouquet and flavor of tart apples, with some gasoline and mineral notes. Nice acidity with good balance. Surprisingly good for a wine that was very cheap. Had with a lovely dinner, including crab beignet's, at La Petite Grocery in New Orleans.

Delicate fruity notes with green apples and slight hint of tropical fruits. Medium body, fine fruit, good acidity, but not really integrated at the moment. 88 p now - with future potential. Wait a couple of years for next bottle

At 12% alcohol this presents itself as dry, but not tart or austere. The fruit is ripe and very pure at the same time. Balanced power with mineral energy. I read somewhere that Julian Haart has spent time with KP Keller and there's some resemblance in style between this and Keller's superb offerings. Yet, the Piesporter is very much a Mosel wine and a very good one at that.
