Preliminary day 1 thoughts are that this is an impressive Pinot with and imposing structure that needs cellar time and/or a good decant to fully appreciate. Darker fruits, substantial but very fine tannins, balanced wine with a long satisfying finish. Very well made. Time will tell if it can reach its potential, but it seems to be there. 92+(+?).

Cru Wines Trade Tasting (Disco Pantera, Sydney) : Earthy, savoury, dark cherry fruit, plum, sweet spice; oak dialled back. Juicy, tangy, cherry fruit, powdery tannins, silky , long, tannins in charge, okay.

opened it way too early, i am an amateur but i could tell this is very high quality wine, the tase right now was very one note cricket berry wish i had cellared that bottle another 5 yehars atleast, dont dare to buy another because of the price

Kutch Verticals--Trout Gulch, McDougall and Falstaff : Vertical (non-blind) of McDougall, 2010 -2021. We did not taste the 2011 (no one owned it) nor 2014 and 2018 (stupid COVID forced the owners to have to miss the tasting) and the 2021 was a tank sample that Jamie pulled for us and shipped down for the tasting (being bottled next week so it's the final composition).
