So here we are years later and it is still improving and will need more time to further reveal the gems in this juice. Graphite nose with cassis and leather aromatics. In mouth the fruits are forward and ready for your tasting pleasure. Ripe blackberry almost jammy, ripe plum, cassis. "Heat is on" into the finish as the wine delivers on its near 15% alchohol.

I can't possibly improve upon the notes of CT memeber CSIMM1169. I echo them as if mine. We have such similar tasting profiles. Bravo to him!

It’s been over two years since my last bottle. As others have mentioned, this still needs to sleep. However, it was still quite drinkable, delivering fairly lush and round black cherry and purple plum flavors on the front end. The mid-palate started to flatten out a little; a furrier tail prickled the back end, providing requisite tension and frame, but making for a more primary finish. Impulse pull with quail gravy. Wanted to see what I should do with upcoming release. PnP and followed over 3 hrs. Herbs, bramble, red tart cherry and berry fruit. Plenty of structure and tannin in the way right now. The is definitely CF, definitely mountain fruit, definitely good, but definitely in need of time. I implore you, do not open until 2027. Beautiful wine with softening tannins and dark red fruit. Silky and smooth in the mouth with a lengthy finish. Lots of dark fruit that went on and on

2015 Incubo & 2015 Space and Time. The Space and Time showed notes of grippy unripe plum, blackberry seed, TIGHT cassis, Twizzlers, limestone, and a repeat of the plum/plum skin on the back end. Some Amarena black cherry syrup notes emerged (especially after some open air), though the syrup was more of a consistency/mouthfeel experience as opposed to sweet or cloying. Slow ox for about 3 hours. Drank over another 2.5 hours. Also had a 2015 Incubo open. I slightly preferred the Incubo, although it was a pretty similar experience. This was largely just a preference of cab over cab franc. Bottom line is both wines need more time. This had dark purple fruit, some green herbal notes and a medium + finish. I think the cab franc just really needs some more time to come into its own. Will forget …
