Kleur is goed. Geur ook. Smaak valt tegen. Dun, weinig concentraat en summiere nadronk. Ruikt naar belegen Bordeaux , fruit is weg , boeren luchten ervoor in de plaats. Vlakke wijn zonder veel body.

Clear dark garnet Smells of our baby's soiled nappies! If we are being kind perhaps "gamey" is a better description. Probably some other smells around as well but I don't want to sniff too hard at the moment. Medium acidity Medium tanins Quite dusty on the palate. Black cherry for sure in there. Also some more medicinal. Resin notes. Med finish.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #039; Bordeaux GCC 2nd wines (By BS) : Pleasant barnyard, butter, cassis and chocolate in the bouquet. Juicy and fairly complex taste with a firm dose of cassis and good acidity. Good harmony. The wine is in its young adult stage. No hurry at all.

vin arrivé à maturité, enchante le nez et la bouche. Pas de longue description car je ne sais pas disséquer les parfums et aromes. Si vous avez la chance d'en avoir en cave, n'hésitez plus à le déboucher, il est à son apogée (2009).

St. Julien!!!! Great nose, pencil, leather, muddy with a perfect balance between fruit and tannine. Better than Chateau Talbot in 1994 and 1997. Outstanding QPR (16 Euro).
