Second bottle didn't seem as good as the first. Hmmmm....

I recently had this with Thanksgiving dinner, we first opened a Meursault from Burgundy which was about $50.00 retail and we were very disappointed. We decided to pop this one open since we didn't have any other white wines, delicious! PnP. An enjoyable sub-$15 quaffer, but nothing memorable about it either. This VV is made for early drinking. Give it 30 minutes of aeration in a decanter for a better showing. Under screwcap. Drink thru 2013.

Nice rich exotic/tropical fruit (likely from Viognier) with good balance and acidity. Ok QPR and will buy again.

Pale yellow gold, at first quite neutral on the nose, then some faint nutty smell comes through. On palate light to medium weight, good acidity. Makes for a good , brisk summer refreshment.

Light straw color nose citrus and flint. Very mineral-laden but full bodied in the mouth. Fruit is citrus rind > flesh and is secondary. I'd like a little more acidity to balance the minerals but if you like a really dry minerally white with body, this is it.

Surprisingly light and clean for a Marsanne/Roussanne. Wonder lemon w/o the tart. Light straw color in the glass. Clean, smooth texture. subtle nose. Lemon and almond.
