Mount Palomar Cloudbreak Meritage

Standard dark ruby, 90% opaque. Open for 24 hrs. Demure nose with only a little cassis and white pepper, some isopropyl. Soft entry and really nice depth of fruit and smooth tannins. Very little oak detected by only a slight vanilla note. Good balance and likeable character can match up with alot of cuisine. Exploding nose of plum and black cherry, wood and earth. Plum and nice fruit on the palate. Cedar notes on the finish. Well balanced and nicely layered acidity.
