Caves Saint-Pierre Châteauneuf-du-Pape Préférence

Dark cherry and plum on the nose with hints of olives, liquorice, cough drop and meat. Medium bodied and somewhat tannic with balanced acidity. Dark fruit, chocolate and Fernet Branca -like herbaceousness. Decent length. A perfectly decent wine but nothing to go crazy about.
