Got this from a cellar with ideal storage conditions. Soft with lemon sherry notes. Way past prime, but pleasant.

Obviously not something you'd hang onto this long normally, but it was a fun find. Nose is nice, straw and apple, pretty light in the mouth. Acid is gone. A few in the group really liked it.

Not everybody keeps a $12 bottle of wine for ten years and it was not on purpose. Found buried in the back of the cellar. Dark gold tan. Well past drinking window, little fruit, and what is left is very ripe red apple. Interesting discovery, tastes better than it looks, but not something to do on purpose.

Amber-tawny in color. Honeyed mandarin, buttered pecans and kumquat aroma. Honey, apricot, canned kumquat and mandarin syrup. There is some nice interweaving of acidity that gave structure. It has some weight on the palate and ends nicely sweet and a touch tart.

Rated it high because it's so creamy/buttery/succulent.

Slightly bitter but still had notes of oak and vanilla in the finish. Not worth the price at this age but still not a bad wine.

Considering its age, the was surprisingly good. Very light notes of oak, dry with a nice slightly crisp finish. It was nearing the end of its life, but was still completely drinkable.

Still nice and dry despite being held too long. Hints of melons and apples. Long dry finish.

My fault here. This would have been a much better wine if I'd had it when it was supposed to be drunk. In spite of my negligence, this wine was quite enjoyable. Oak still dominates, but the fading of acidity has given rise to a much rounder, flabbier wine. Deep golden color, and a pleasing aroma for a wine past it's prime.

This is a good every-day kind of wine to have for the price. I don't know "real" tasting notes, but I think it's a decent wine -- not too sweet, not too dry.

Beautiful color, honey nose, buttery taste. Even better than I remeber this old favorite.

Still holding up well -- this is a refined chard with pineapple, hints of lemon and grapefruit. Great balance, with a firm acidity that plays well with the creamy texture. A nice long finish. Sorry this is my last bottle.

Sorry to see the end of this case -- maybe not as great as it was a year ago but still a very nice chard with lots of fruit and weight

Best chard I've had in quite awhile. Showing it's age but still loaded with fruit. Has a wonderful mouthfeel of apricots and some citrus. Creamy finish. Ate with a fresh crab Caesar salad and it went great.

Was a little disappointed in this one. Might have waited too long on this bottle. Light on the oak, which was nice, but light on everything else too.

Delicious bottle of wine. Definitely improved with some age. Great balance of fruit and acid, even a decent mouthfeel. If I saw some for sale at a reasonable price, I would definitely buy more. Might keep an eye out for other vintages. I don't know why people put such early, narrow drinking windows on chardonnay wines such as this one and white Burgundies. Every one I have had has been a bit better "down the road".

Nice mouth feel, mellow palate, citrus and floral overtones with a little too much oak, good finish. Excellent, none the less, but a bit pricey.

This wine is a golden straw color. The nose is citric melon with a hint of oak. The taste is melon, sweet center with a nice firm acidic finish.

Family Network Food and Wine Pairing (Highland Park Community Center) : Tasted at the 2008 Family Network Wine and Food Pairing in HP. Light and refreshing yet still some nice creaminess on the palate. A consistent effort across the board. Nothing too special going on, but a nice wine nonetheless.

Drank this wine the night after a bottle of Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay. This was very good, but a bit more acidic more sour apple than peach. It did add a nice flavor to the fish (Orange roughy - I poured some over it while it was in the broiler - just for the last minute or two).

Surprisingly drinkable considering the Merlot made my nose squinch. It was a gift and therefore free... and therefore worth the price I paid. Hehe.

Had this at Lucky 32. Color was darker than the Clos du Bois, sort of a light straw color. The nose was windex, citris, orange peel, and lemon. This wine was a bit volatile on the mid palate with butter and oak prevailing. An average finish to a decent wine.

Nose of sour apple and slight citrus. Extremely oaky, buttery as they say. I am not a huge Chard fan, but received this as a gift. Drank with a light pasta dish and it paired well.
