The cork was damaged. We don't like this bottle getting another. The wine was a brownish color.

Clearly Pinot nose of cherry cola and ashtray. On the palate, this is round, ripe fruit set nicely on soft tannins and mouth watering acidity. Very good wine.

Nice deep Pinot color. Distinctive nose if not a bit of alcohol. Smooth silky mouth feel. Earthy with great fruit. Note of sweetness on the backside is very pleasurable.

See Tudz review, still the same. I think the drinking window (2012) is too short if this is well stored. This bottle seemed very young.

The nose is a nice combination of cherry, smoke and a touch of spicy vanilla. On the palate, the tannins are soft and silky with a bright cherry tongue and darker earthy notes around the fringes. There is a solid core of scidy that brings balance to the fruit and a nice long - slightly oaky - finish. this is a delicious wine.

Excellent upon first opening. Powered up with hummus(cilantro &jalapeno) with a touch of lemon. Fruity initially, smooth as heck, soft finish. Great find!

"Inagural Release, Signature Label" - tasted at Pinot Days 2008 SF June 08 and I say yum! nose - complex with floral notes. Mouth -mid to light bodied, good spice on the midpalate. Not overly fruity. Main problem is the offering price of 60 quid.
