This was a big wine. I needed to decant for a while to open up. Lots of tannins, hints of chocolate and some dark fruit but overall not to much fruit. We have two more bottles which will probably be opened soon.

Good Merlot for the price. Doesn't blow you away and make you fall in love, but well worth the $16.95 I paid for it. Ok, I will say it did make me drool when I poured it in the decanter. Dark garnet, full flavor, full aroma. Not an extraordinary finish, but still quite good. Again, for the price, it was very good. Probably a couple years past it's prime?

Amazing wine after we decanted it for 2 hrs. Opened up beautifully. Went great with brined turkey and wild hog sausage stuffing. Great start to the holiday season. Cheers.

Awesome Merlot! For a person that might drink only 10-12 merlots a year, I thought this one was awesome. Great fruit, lots of berry, not tannic, nice , lingering finish. One of the best merlot producers in NAPA IMO.
