Sigalas Apiliotis

Deep Ruby, red dried berries in the nose, Lots of everything: Dried red fruit, high mouth cleaning acidity and tannin, full bodied with long finish. Not super complex but very well built. This one could have developed further for many years maybe revealing more complexity. Caution: Sediment like a vintage port so I had to filtrate the half of the bottle. Good companion with chocolate cake with balsamic strawberries....

Lots of red fruits on the nose, full body with high acidity and considerable tannin in the mouth. Good enough already but I still hope it would give more complex perfumes as an 8-year-old dessert wine. 17年补个中文：新鲜的糖浆，山楂味很浓，口感浓缩高酸，不是很复杂。

Deep ruby colour. Expressive nose showing aromas of black olives, liquorice, dry figs, prunes, raisins, coffee and chocolate. It is sweet in the mouth with a medium+ acidity. It has velvety but firm tannins and a pronounced flavour concentration. The finish is long with strawberries memories. It is very complex with very intense flavours, a lingering finish and a firm structure. It is an outstanding wine, albeit Mandilaria is one of those "love it or hate it" varieties.

Medium brown orange color; aromatic, brown sugar syrup, fig jam nose; tasty, fig jam, brown sugar, saline palate with some acidity; long finish (100% Mandilaria; 9% alcohol; pH 2.9, TA 13)
