Robe jaune. Puissant, salivation intense. Un peu de bois, tout de meme sur le fruit frais. Good !

The wine is clear and bright with a medium lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing medium+ intensity aromas of mushrooms, ripe pineapple, green apple, orange peel and cedar. The wine is medium-dry in the mouth with a high mouthwatering acidity. It has medium+ alcohol, full rich body and pronounced intensity flavour of ripe pineaplle, lemon, orange peel and cedar. The finish is long. It is a very good quality wine because it has …

Domain Marcel Deiss, a 25 year retrospective, with Mathieu Deiss (E&R, Portland, OR) : Funky, soil aromas of dirty chalk. Chunky palate texture. Tastes generic without much depth. General melon note. Not much carter on the finish either, but some better acidity coming in later.

Golden in colour starting to show some age. Although dry it has a good sweet core, most likely a result of low acidity rather than residual sugar, full of ripe fruit, light apricot taste. Firm wine medium in weight, no rough edges and quite versatle with food. the swet core also helped with the spicy food on offer. could use some more depth. 90-91

The wines of Domaine Marcel Deiss (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR) : Some barely funk and metallic fruit. A little off balanced. Similar notion on the palate, offering soft cream flavor and texture. Quite viscous and spicy. Chunky clunky fruit. More spice on the finish with some heat. A little puckering and more metallic minerality.

The entry level Marcel Deiss. Fairly unusual and relatively light. Interesting smoke on the nose and very appley on the palate. Nowhere near the quality of their blends especially the grand crus
