Off-Line in London Dec 2024 (http://www.tufnellparktavern.com) : Mycket ung. Inte min kopp te. För många nyckelpigelarver gick åt i makandet av detta vin. Kan kanske styra upp sig med några år på rygg, men... Så många badankor i Loire och så lite tid!

Green apples, green pears, white flowers, spice, yellow with orange citrus peel aromas fill the perfume. The palate is sweet, vibrant, fresh, and fruity with a long, graceful blast of lemons in the finish. The wine blends 80% Sauvignon Blanc with 20% Semillon. Drink from 2024-2033.

92 vvPunkte www.vvwine.ch

This really ought to be more famous. Complex, super flavoursome. There’s the green fruit and fresh acidity of Semillon Sav Blanc with aged caramel oak notes. OK that sounds a bit weird but it’s integrated. Classic Bordeaux blanc. 13%, diam.

Light grassy nose. The colour is a light yellow tinged with a bit of green. On the palate, cats pee (!), gooseberry; finishing very clean with a creamy vanilla flavour. Long. Light gold appearance. Pronounced nose of honeyed citrus, green apple, honeydew melon. Nose is still youthful. Medium body with medium plus acidity. Lots of citrus, green apple and bit of honey on the palate. At this point the finish is medium to medium plus. This is a well made youthful wine that is drinking fine now. Will definitely fill out with time and could easily keep for another decade if stored properly. Purchased at the winery in July 2015.

Pale gold appearance. Sauvignon Blanc dominates on the nose. Grapefruit, herbal notes. Some honey and confected orange- likely from the Semillon. Medium plus acidity and medium bodied. Tasted at the Zachys Bordeaux Confidential tasting on 5/14/15. This was delicious. Lime, pineapple and mango. Full-bodied, very crisp, powerful and lively. 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Semillon and 5% Muscadelle. Tasted this just before tasting the 2011 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc. First time drinking a dry white from Pessac. Don't know much about the region other than that sauvignon blanc and semillon goes into the wine. The wine is of a golden straw, the color of which could have been mistaken for a young Sauternes had it not been the thin legs that give away the lack of viscosity so prevalent of wines from Barsac. A typical sauvignon blanc nose of flint, gravel, clean-cut grass and copious amounts of citrus. There …
