Beautiful Aussie wine here. Fragrant with black licorice, fig jam, eucalyptus, dried red cherries, and ripe cranberry. Full body, med acid, med tannin. This is fantastic. Very interesting given the extended maceration time. It’s silky on the entry and the finish is spicy and complex (cognac notes?). Enjoy now and over the 5-10 years.

Sweet cherries on the nose, notes of plums, a little jammy, notes of spices, liquorice. Not overly complex on the palate, generous fruit, sufficient acidity, soft tannins. Quite juicy and mellow with a bit of grip towards the end. Good length. Drink or keep. 89-91

Took a couple of hours to open up. A little short on the finish, but when drink the following day with food, was a perfect match and became a delicious 'quaffing' wine

Australia Trade Tasting (London) : 13.5% the wine shows some earthy notes, red and black fruit, some balsamic notes, sweet spices, olives, smooth palate, easy, some tannins, rather short finish

Extremely fresh and youthful, with a power-packed core of cassis and raspberry fruit. It has subtle florals and a suggestion of tar. It is velvety in the mouth and has great volume. Tannins are sweet yet supportive and length is superb.

Negociants Australia Portfolio Tasting 2017 : Plum and blackcurrant. Sweet fruit on the palate, quite a bit of spice but the sweetness remains at the fore. Decent balance overall.
