Pleasing aroma of cherry and vanilla, tart cherry on the palate, with good acid and tannins. Great grip and concentration, but ultimately one-dimensional. Long on the finish too, but not particularly pleasing.

Vibrant purple hue. Aroma of bing cherries and some green peppers. Drinking well now.

Day 1: Pop & Pour. Nice black fruit, some earthiness and mineral. Smooth tannins and nice acidity. Quite drinkable, with half the bottle going down easy. Vacu-Sealed and saved for tomorrow. Day 2: Much more restrained and tannic. It's like the tannins suddenly woke up, ready for a fight. Definitely not as enjoyable, getting tiresome to drink after an hour. Final 1/8 of the bottle resealed. May or may not attempt to consume it tomorrow...
