Blackberry, black and red cherry, damp earth, herbs, and some aged wood on the nose. Plum, blackberry, cherry, tart cherry, herbs, earth, spice, and some warmth on the palate. Moderate acidity, integrated lightly chewy tannins, medium finish. Full bodied, concentrated, dense in texture. Really big. This is quite over-the-top in size and fruitiness but also enjoyable if that's your thing. It didn't work for me this day.

Normally, Zin doesn't get decanter. This needed decanting. Young, but after a couple of hour those fruits and peppery notes showed through wonderful.
