Oof - so much better years ago. Ah well. Acidity and crispness have faded completely, a watery memory of what once was.

Nice, dry rose. Not particularly aromatic. Acidic.

Good dry rosé. Drinking more tart now than I remember six months ago.

Ranked #4 on the first day of a three day Rose blind tasting. Very pale salmon color. The nose on this wine is dominated by melon with a hint of strawberry. Dry with a clean acidity. This was the most surprising wine today as the tasting notes indicated that it would be "surprisingly deep & full" and we found the complete opposite - it was the lightest. Light straw orange peach color, tangerines on the nose. Dry, light tart mineral, citrus, some rhubarb, melon, crispt with a light body, smooth finish.

Over the last four months we've sampled about thirty 2011 rosés. Dollars to donuts, this one comes up donuts (except it's much drier than donuts). Available in CT for $11. Pale copper/salmon pink. Mostly crisp, light citrus, with a little herb and red fruit flitting around, possibly nothing tropical. Surprising persistence and edge. Full and bright in flavor, lean and tenacious in texture. Wine Reviews: Rosé : SRP: $10. A bright, floral rosé with pink grapefruit, freshly picked strawberries, and a hint of minerality. The palate has surprisingly depth and great weight.
