Sixteen 600 Sixteen 600 Cabernet Sauvignon Severson Vineyard, USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley

I don't usually love Cabernet Sauvignon, but Sixteen 600's cabs are a cut above for me. Nose eludes me. Gorgeous reddish purple color that’s still vibrant after 14! Years! Dark cherry, green bell pepper, earth on the palate. I can’t help but taste apple in this, somehow? Whole mouth tannins that aren’t overwhelming. A joy to drink. It's really too bad that they aren't able to get Severson fruit anymore, because this is a lovely bottle.
